The Dark Knight Rises is a go and starts filming this May with a U.S. release date June 20, 2012. The Dark Night Rises is third in Christopher Nolan’s “Batman” series. Nolan is also producing the upcoming Superman: Man of Steel flick also set to drop sometime in 2012 as well. Original cast members return and include Christian Biel as The Batman/Bruce Wayne, Gary Oldman as commissioner Jim Gordon, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Michael Caine as Alfred, new comer Tom Hardy as Bane and confirmation of Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle is still undetermined. Also word of another female role of Talia al Ghul, daughter of the first movie’s villain, Ra’s al Ghul is in the mix.
